La cortadora de espuma por hilo caliente (cortadora de icopor, cortadora de telgopor), permite dar forma a espuma de poliestireno EPS (corcho blanco) y XPS mediante un hilo resistivo calentado. A partir de estos materiales económicos pueden fabricarse molduras decorativas únicas, elementos ornamentales para edificios, decoraciones, rótulos 3D, nombres de ciudades a tamaño real o letras gigantes.
